Learning to specifically address shame-based issues has changed the way I work as a therapist. It has deepened my understanding of unhealthy and stubborn life patterns and behaviour and how they hold us back from living a meaningful and healthy life.
As a certified Integrative Art Therapist, I have experienced how creative methods are especially well suited for working with sensitive issues that are rooted in shame. Creativity allows you to work from the inside out, discovering alternative ways of expressing yourself when verbal communication is difficult or impossible. The use of creativity assures a gentle, safe and efficient process. In combination with the therapeutic dialogue, creativity facilitates the integration of new healthy
patterns that create permanent change and ultimately healing. We can do it together.
I work in English, French, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish.

Shame is an invisible phenomenon in the human psyche. It is a part of a big uncharted territory where a person can get lost, even if doing a lot of therapy work. It is so secret and hidden, so hard to identify, that it can cause something similar to soul loss—lack of purpose in life, low self-esteem, a deep sense of being wrong, feeling bad or not worthy of anybody's presence, affection, or love. In my training with Bret and Sheila, I have developed many tools on how to work practically with shame, coming to the root of the problem in a much shorter time, tremendously speeding up the healing process.
I have integrated these Healing Shame methods into my private practice methodology, which takes a healing approach to human consciousness and energy systems through Brennan Healing Science, body-oriented psychotherapy based on character structures -- PsychoEnergetics, trauma resolution through Somatic Experiencing®, and herbalism.
I hope to meet you in this deep and uncharted territory of the psyche where we can together walk on the path towards vitality, creativity, and light.
Sessions are offered in English, Serbian, and Spanish.

Working in the banking industry on my way toward financial independence, my bank account steadily grew, but my emotional account was nearing a distress level. That realization led me to redirect my life on a new path — one focused on relationships rather than money.
I became a Gestalt therapist, and toward the end of my training, I discovered the world of shame. I was struck by how something so powerful could be so overlooked and underestimated. Today, I am both a certified Gestalt therapist and a Healing Shame practitioner.
I believe in the healing power of feeling safe as oneself in the presence of someone who does not judge, and that this is a deeply human need we all share. For various reasons, many of us have come to believe it’s risky to show certain parts of ourselves. Because our wounds and struggles arise in relationship — it is in relationship that they need to be healed. In the saftey of a guided therapeutic experience, we can explore and make sense of what has been hidden under shame with a chance to see those experiences more clearly and unpack the shame that unconsciously binds you from greater expression and happiness.
